Sonith L. S.

I am a PhD candidate at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru, awaiting my thesis defence. I study symbiotic stars and interacting binaries, with a particular interest in classical symbiotic outbursts.

My work combines optical spectroscopy and photometry to follow the evolution of these outbursts across orbital phases. I also develop Python-based tools for spectroscopic data reduction and analysis, as well as time series analysis.
