Bio

A little about me, my academic journey, and sharing science.

I’m an observational astrophysicist at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru. I work on symbiotic stars and interacting binaries, using spectroscopy and photometry to follow the changing behaviour of stellar systems.

I am pursuing a PhD in Astrophysics under Prof. Umanath S. Kamath. My thesis, A Study of Symbiotic Stars, investigates stellar outbursts and their spectroscopic evolution. I am awaiting my thesis defence.

Alongside observations, I develop semi-automated reduction pipelines and use multi-wavelength data to connect the optical and X-ray views of stellar activity.
